Oceanside Inferno Pearl (style OGT607683CCF) is a fiery opalescent mixture of orange and yellow with a Corella surface, System 96 96 COE fusible sheet.
Appearance
Bright orange and golden yellow swirled together in a flame-like opalescent mix, with wispy pearl-white streaks through the Corella texture. The color moves from deep orange to glowing yellow, so every cut lands on a different part of the blaze.
Working notes
The texture sits on one face, the reverse smoother. As an opal mixture the color holds over any background. A full fuse melts the surface toward flat and glossy while keeping the swirled pattern; a tack fuse keeps more relief.
Reactions
This is a sulfur-bearing color, rated high on the System 96 reactive scale. Fused against a copper-bearing glass it can develop a reaction line or a shift in color where the two meet, an effect fusers use on purpose for shading and depth. Next to non-reactive colors it stays true. See the System 96 Reactive Color Chart for the colors it reacts with.
Format and sizes
Sold as 3mm Corella sheet. Choose your size from the options on this page.
Fusing and compatibility
Fuses cleanly with any other 96 COE glass in the System 96 family. Matching COE alone does not guarantee compatibility across makers, so fire a small test tile when mixing brands.
