Oceanside Light Amber Smooth Transparent (style OGT1104SF) is System 96 tested-compatible 96 COE fusible sheet glass, a warm honey-gold transparent with a smooth face.
Appearance
A warm honey-gold that glows when light passes through, reading as bright gold rather than dark amber. The smooth face gives a clean, even wash across the sheet.
Working notes
It warms a light base into a golden glow and turns richer over darker backing. A full fuse keeps its see-through quality, and layered over other colors it adds a warm cast.
Reactions
This is a sulfur-bearing color, rated medium on the System 96 reactive scale. Fused against a copper-bearing glass it can develop a reaction line or a shift in color where the two meet, an effect fusers use on purpose for shading and depth. Fusing and compatibility
Fuses cleanly with the rest of the System 96 line. With glass from other makers, matching COE alone does not guarantee a fit, so fire a test tile first.
