Oceanside Mimosa Pearl Opalescent (style OGT606783CCF) is System 96 tested-compatible 96 COE fusible sheet glass, a bright yellow opalescent with a pearly Corella surface.
Appearance
A sunny yellow streaked with warm amber and gold. The Corella surface is a fine rippled finish that gives a pearly satin sheen, and the color reads warm and solid rather than see-through.
Working notes
The texture sits on one face, so fire texture-side up to keep the shimmer through a tack fuse; a full fuse relaxes the ripple toward flat and can quiet the sheen. As an opal it reads as a solid warm yellow over light or dark, and the amber streaking adds movement wherever you cut.
Reactions
This is a sulfur-bearing color, rated high on the System 96 reactive scale. Fused against a copper-bearing glass it can develop a reaction line or a shift in color where the two meet, an effect fusers use on purpose for shading and depth. Fusing and compatibility
Fuses cleanly with any other System 96 glass at 96 COE. With glass from other makers, matching COE alone does not guarantee compatibility, so fire a small test tile first.
