Oceanside OpalArt Lagoon (style OGTOA62352SF) is System 96 tested-compatible 96 COE fusible sheet glass, a streaky opalescent swirl of green, aqua, and white.
Appearance
Lagoon swirls kelly and grass green through aqua and turquoise, streaked with soft white, in the marbled opalescent style of the OpalArt line. The colors move in flowing currents across the sheet, so it looks like sunlit shallow water. As an opal the whites stay solid and bright while the greens and aquas glow, and the pattern shifts across every piece.
Working notes
OpalArt is an opalescent streaky glass, so the color reads solid rather than passing light like a transparent, which makes it strong for backgrounds, water, and landscapes. A full fuse smooths the surface while keeping the swirled color, and because the pattern varies, cut with the design in mind.
Reactions
This is a copper-bearing color, rated high on the System 96 reactive scale. Fused against a sulfur-bearing glass it can develop a reaction line or a shift in color where the two meet, an effect fusers use on purpose for shading and depth. Fusing and compatibility
Tested compatible with other System 96 glass, so it fuses cleanly with any 96 COE product in the System 96 family. When you combine it with glass from other makers, matching COE alone does not guarantee compatibility, so fire a small test tile first.
