Oceanside Purple/Amber/White (style OGT6417SF) is System 96 tested-compatible 96 COE fusible sheet glass, a swirling streaky mix of purple, amber, and white in a smooth finish.
Appearance
A soft dusty purple swirling with warm amber-gold and creamy white, the amber cutting warm veins through the cooler tones in wispy marbled movement. It reads as a semi-opaque streaky mix.
Working notes
Smooth on both faces. As a streaky opal it reads as a soft solid over light bases. A full fuse blends the swirl together; a tack fuse keeps the streak definition and layered edges.
Reactions
This is a sulfur-bearing color, rated low on the System 96 reactive scale. Fused against a copper-bearing glass it can develop a reaction line or a shift in color where the two meet, an effect fusers use on purpose for shading and depth. Fusing and compatibility
It fuses cleanly with any 96 COE product in the System 96 family. With glass from other makers, matching COE alone does not guarantee compatibility, so fire a small test tile first.
