Oceanside Seafoam Green/White (style OGT82872SF) is System 96 tested-compatible 96 COE fusible sheet glass, a streaky mix of seafoam green and white with a smooth surface.
Appearance
The photo shows a soft seafoam green swirled together with milky white in flowing, marbled streaks. The two colors blend and separate across the sheet, giving a cloudy, water-like movement. It reads as a semi-opaque streaky glass, with the white areas denser and the green more translucent.
Working notes
A streaky opal-and-transparent mix, it diffuses light and shows its swirls best over a lighter base or with light behind it. The marbled pattern is built into the sheet, so every cut looks a little different, and the streaks hold through a full fuse. Being copper-bearing and rated low on the reactive scale, it can shift slightly against sulfur-bearing glass.
Reactions
This is a copper-bearing color, rated low on the System 96 reactive scale. Fused against a sulfur-bearing glass it can develop a reaction line or a shift in color where the two meet, an effect fusers use on purpose for shading and depth. Next to non-reactive colors it stays true. See the System 96 Reactive Color Chart for the colors it reacts with.
Format and sizes
This color is sold as 3mm smooth sheet glass. Choose your size from the options on this page.
Fusing and compatibility
Tested compatible with other System 96 glass, so it fuses cleanly with any 96 COE product in the System 96 family. When you combine it with glass from other makers, matching COE alone does not guarantee compatibility, so fire a small test tile first.
