Oceanside Sunflower Opalescent (style OGT26772SF) is System 96 tested-compatible 96 COE fusible sheet glass, a bright opaque yellow with a smooth surface.
Appearance
A vivid, saturated sunflower yellow that reads fully opalescent, a solid opaque color with no transparency. The surface is smooth and even, and the yellow stays strong and consistent across the sheet.
Working notes
As an opal it blocks light, so it works as a bold field or accent rather than a light-passing layer. The color holds through a full fuse and the smooth face stays glossy.
Reactions
This is a sulfur-bearing color, rated high on the System 96 reactive scale. Fused against a copper-bearing glass it can develop a reaction line or a shift in color where the two meet, an effect fusers use on purpose for shading and depth. Fusing and compatibility
Fuses cleanly with any 96 COE product in the System 96 family. With glass from other makers, matching COE alone does not guarantee compatibility, so fire a small test tile first.
