Oceanside Teal Green/White (style OGT82372SF) is System 96 tested-compatible 96 COE fusible sheet glass, a streaky teal green and white opalescent on a smooth surface.
Appearance
The sheet mixes a rich teal green with white opal in flowing, water-like swirls, so the color pulls from deep green through pale, milky streaks. The mottled pattern moves across the surface like currents, and no two areas match. The smooth face is flat, and as an opalescent it reads as a cloudy, semi-solid teal rather than a clear transparent.
Working notes
The streaky mix runs through the glass and shows on both smooth faces. A full fuse settles the surface to gloss and blends the swirls softly, while a tack fuse keeps the streaked layout defined. As an opalescent it sits as a cloudy teal field over light, well suited to water, foliage, and soft-mottled grounds.
Reactions
This is a copper-bearing color, rated high on the System 96 reactive scale. Fused against a sulfur-bearing glass it can develop a reaction line or a shift in color where the two meet, an effect fusers use on purpose for shading and depth. Fusing and compatibility
Tested compatible with other System 96 glass, so it fuses cleanly with any 96 COE product in the System 96 family. When you combine it with glass from other makers, matching COE alone does not guarantee compatibility, so fire a small test tile first.
