Pale pastel green, opaque and even, a soft mint field with a satin surface and no variation from ball to ball, closer to seafoam than to leaf.
These beads of fused glass frit run about 3 to 6 mm, sold by weight at one half ounce per bag, about 100 to 130 balls. COE96, System 96 compatible; the rest of the piece should be tested COE96. Spring buds, seafoam and soft nursery palettes are where it belongs.
The color stays quiet on white and turns clear and bright on darker greens, blue and black. Mixed with white and slate blue balls it builds a frosted, stony texture. Tack fuse keeps each ball a small raised bead; full fuse flattens it to a soft edged spot. In a garden panel the smallest balls scatter as distant blossom while the larger ones sit forward as buds about to open, and it is the green to reach for when a piece needs calm rather than contrast.
