Pink Jellyfish Color Decal Sheet

This sheet presents seven jellyfish illustrations in the style of vintage natural-history printmaking. A large central medusa anchors the composition, its bell radiating fine structural detail in soft pink and mauve with pale green edging and trailing tendrils. Six smaller jellyfish surround it in varied forms, from a rounded gold-and-green specimen to a cone-shaped striped bell and a deeper vase-form medusa. This is a water-slide transfer that adds detailed printed color to pre-fired glass. Cut out a decal, soak it 30 to 60 seconds until it loosens from its backing, slide it onto clean pre-fired glass, smooth out water and air from the center outward, let it dry completely, then fire. The decal bonds to the surface rather than fusing as a compatible layer, so it works with any COE glass.

Working Notes

Apply decals only to clean, smooth, pre-fired glass. These are full-color decals, so firing toward the lower end of the range helps preserve color strength, and white or very light base glass shows the design most clearly since the print fires somewhat transparent. Let the decal dry fully before firing, and anneal for the thickness of your glass. Every kiln fires differently, so test a small piece first.

Suggested Firing Schedule (a starting point only, not a guarantee of results): Fire to roughly 1275 to 1380 degrees F, held about 10 minutes.
