A medium sky blue, opaque and glossy, every ball one even cerulean shade with a soft highlight riding on each dome.
Each ball is fused glass frit shaped into a bead of about 3 to 6 mm; a half ounce bag carries roughly 100 to 130. Made from System 96 compatible COE96 glass; fire with tested COE96 glass. Riviera Blue dots read as sky, shallow water and bubbles across a summer piece.
Over white and cream the blue is at its cleanest, and on very dark ground it stays bright. Scattered with white and pale green balls it makes a cool beach texture. Tack fuse for raised beads, full fuse for flush circles; neighbors placed close will merge once the glass softens. Rows of evenly spaced balls make simple borders on suncatchers and small plates, and a loose drift across the top of a panel reads as fair weather sky. Judge the spacing before firing, because the pattern locks in as soon as the glass moves.
