Rose Garden pairs the flower with its foliage. Deep red opal and soft pink opal chips mix with cream and milky white grains, and forest green opal pieces rest among them like leaves under blooms. Every chip is opaque, giving the pile a dense, candied look. Turned in the hand, the reds range from crimson to a deep berry tone while the pinks stay soft and chalky beside them.
Some of these colors may not take on their target shade until fused. Both sulfur bearing and lead bearing colors are present; the sulfur side can react on contact with copper bearing glass. The blend is COE90 Bullseye glass; match it to COE90 alone.
Grains sit in the coarse band, 2.7 to 5.2 mm, sold as 4 oz and 8 oz bags. At home in floral panels, garden themed dishes, or a rose bed along the edge of a platter.
