• Prime the form with a boron nitride mold primer such as ZYP Boron Nitride Mold Primer, or a kiln wash, and let it dry completely before placing glass so the glass does not stick.
• This form is sized to accept pieces cast with the Unicorn Frit Casting Mold (LF189) and the Deer Frit Cast-Stand Up Mold (LF193). Cast and fully fuse those pieces first, then slump them over this form.
• Place the fused glass piece over the form and fire at slumping temperatures. The glass softens and drapes over the mold, taking on the curved stand-up profile.
• The mold is COE agnostic. Use a slumping schedule matched to your glass, adjusting the anneal soak temperature for your COE.
• Let the kiln cool fully before removing the slumped piece. Re-coat the mold with primer as needed between firings.

This is a suggested COE96 starting schedule, not a guarantee. Every kiln fires differently. Test a small run and adjust the schedule for your glass and kiln.

*Segment 2 is the anneal soak at 950 F for COE96. If using COE90, adjust this temperature to 900 F.
