Working Notes

Prime the mold surface with a boron nitride mold primer such as ZYP Boron Nitride Mold Primer , or a kiln wash such as Hotline Primo Primer , and let it dry completely before placing your glass.

As the kiln heats, the glass softens and drapes over the mold, pressing the swirl pattern into the underside of the tray.
The mold is COE agnostic. Use a slumping schedule matched to your glass type and adjust the final anneal soak for your COE. For COE90, lower the anneal to 900 F rather than 950 F.
Let the kiln cool fully before removing the slumped piece. Re-coat the mold with primer as needed between firings.
