Spring Green Opalescent Frit Balls COE90

A bright chartreuse, yellow green and opaque, glossy, with a few balls running slightly paler or more minty than the rest. That spread from pastel to full yellow green is how Bullseye describes this color cold.

Frit balls are small round beads of fused glass, about 3 to 6 mm, that fire in as dots without any circle cutting. Bullseye made and COE90, they belong with tested COE90 glass. Around 100 to 130 fill each half ounce bag. Spring Green dots are new growth, lime slices and frog spots, bright over white and glowing over a dark green base.

What does Spring Green react with?
It is a sulfur glass that may react with lead and copper colors to form a dark interface line; a ball on Turquoise Blue fires with a drawn on ring, which can be a feature. Bullseye also names Spring Green Opal as one of the colors most affected by copper left on a kiln shelf after heavy Turquoise Blue or Egyptian Blue firings, so refresh the separator first. It is a striker with no published hold; paler balls mature to the full yellow green on firing.
