Teal Green dots are a rich sea green, the color of deep tropical water, with paler streaks sweeping across many of the slices. The pile reads darker in the mass, and the streaked faces catch the light like wet beach glass. Some dots show a faint translucency at the rim.
COE90 dots made from Bullseye glass, sliced from 6 mm cane at about 2 to 3 mm thick, and made to fuse with COE90 glass only. The lighter streaks make each dot read like a small piece of stone. Use them as the eye of a peacock feather, as deep water beneath lighter blues, as tropical leaves on cream, or as sea glass on a sand colored base.
How does teal green read on a base? Opaque, so it holds as a solid teal on black and shows its lighter streaks most clearly on white. The variation survives firing and gives a natural look. It suits peacock feathers, deep water, sea glass and tropical leaves.
