The Three Large Petal Attachment set from Creative Paradise is a ceramic kiln forming accessory designed to work with the GM187 Ruffled Controlled Drop Flower mold. The set includes three large petal forms that attach to the GM187, adding organic ruffled petal contours to the flower shape as the glass softens and drapes during firing.
A pre-fused glass blank is placed over the combined GM187 and petal attachment assembly, then heated in the kiln so gravity pulls the glass down into the ruffled petal form. Like all Creative Paradise ceramic kiln accessories, this attachment set is COE agnostic and reusable across many firings with proper prep and care.
What does this petal attachment set do? It modifies the GM187 Ruffled Controlled Drop Flower mold by adding three large petal forms, shaping the glass into more organic, ruffled petal contours as it slumps and drapes over the combined form during firing.
Which mold does it work with? This attachment set is designed specifically for the GM187 Ruffled Controlled Drop Flower mold from Creative Paradise. It is not a standalone mold and requires the GM187 to function.
What COE glass can I use? Any COE. Ceramic kiln accessories like this one are COE agnostic, so the same setup works with COE96, COE90, or other compatible fusible glass. Match your firing schedule to the glass you are using.
How do I prep the attachment before firing? Coat all petal surfaces with a boron nitride spray or kiln wash and let them dry completely before placing glass. Re-coat as needed between firings.

Working Notes
These are guidelines, not guarantees. Every kiln fires a little differently, so test a small run first when the result matters and follow a schedule suited to your glass and kiln.
Prime all petal attachment surfaces with a boron nitride mold primer such as ZYP Boron Nitride Mold Primer , or a kiln wash such as Hotline Primo Primer , and let it dry completely before placing glass.
This attachment set is designed for use with the GM187 Ruffled Controlled Drop Flower mold. Place a pre-fused glass blank over the combined form assembly and fire so the glass softens and drapes into the ruffled petal shape.
The attachment set is COE agnostic. Follow a slumping or controlled drop schedule matched to your glass and kiln, adjusting the anneal soak for your COE.
Let the kiln cool fully before removing the glass from the form. Re-coat all surfaces with primer as needed between firings.
The Slide Hi Temp brand separator is not recommended with these molds.
