Turquoise dots for COE96 are a light, bright turquoise blue, opaque and glossy, and the pile is clean and even, with some slices carrying a slightly lighter streak across the face. The color leans blue rather than green.
Each dot is a 2 to 3 mm slice of 6 mm cane, COE96, and it belongs with COE96 glass only. Bright turquoise contrasts strongly on black. Use it for Caribbean water on a white plate, robin's eggs in a brown nest, a southwestern border on terracotta orange, or as the light blue beside cobalt in a winter polka field. Tack fused it keeps a rounded top that catches light like a bead; full fused it lies flat as a clean turquoise circle.
