White Frit Balls COE96

Bright, dense white, fully opaque with a satin surface, a uniform field of rounded balls with no cream or gray cast anywhere. It is a clean paper white.

Frit balls are small spheres of fused glass, about 3 to 6 mm across, that fire onto a base as finished dots. COE96 from System 96 compatible glass, for use with Oceanside and other tested COE96 glass. Bags weigh about one half ounce, around 100 to 130 balls. Eyes, snow, seeds, daisy petals, pearls and bubbles on dark water all start here.

Can I use these in mosaic as well as fusing?
Yes. Unfired, they set into thinset or adhesive like small tesserae and add rounded, glossy dots to a mosaic surface; fired, they melt flush at a full fuse or stay raised at a tack fuse. White dots are sharpest over black and deep blue, soften into texture over pastels, and merge where placed touching, so leave a gap between dots that must stay separate.
