White Opalescent Dots COE96

White Opalescent dots for COE96 are a bright, dense white with no cream or gray in them, and the pile is opaque and matte, like a spill of aspirin. The color is identical from dot to dot.

Each dot is about 2 to 3 mm thick, cut from 6 mm cane, and rated COE96; combine it only with COE96 glass. White is the highlight of the dot family. Stack one under a black dot for an eye, use it for snow on a blue scene, daisy petals around yellow on a green base, or a clean polka pattern on cobalt.

How does white read on a base?
Fully opaque, so it stays a clean white on any color and gives the hardest contrast on black and cobalt. It is the standard for eyes and eye highlights, snow, pearls and the light dot in a two-tone pattern. Over a white base it reads as texture only.
