Bullseye Canary Yellow Confetti (style 000120) is 90 COE fusible confetti, thin flakes and shards of glass for translucent, layered color across a fused surface. As a striking color, it may not reach its final shade until it is fired.
Cold characteristics Bullseye writes these notes for the sheet form of this color; the same glass is used to make this product.
Color variations common from pastel to vibrant yellow.
Working notes Lighter coloration matures and becomes consistent to target upon firing. A sulfur glass. May react with lead and copper glasses to create dark interface (lead sulfide, copper sulfide). This style is not suitable for kilncasting because it can become incompatible when held at high temperatures for an extended period. It may also become incompatible in instances where processes exceed the parameters of the test for compatibility. Testing recommended when heatwork exceeds these parameters.
Reactions This is a reactive glass. It contains Sulfur (S) / Selenium (Se) and may react where it meets Copper (Cu), Lead (Pb), and Silver (Ag), forming a visible line or halo at the boundary. Use that on purpose to outline and add depth, or keep reactive colors apart to avoid it.
Using the confetti Confetti are paper-thin glass flakes that add drifts of translucent color when scattered on the surface and fused. Because they are so thin, they melt in smoothly and can be layered without adding much height.
Fusing and compatibility Tested compatible with other Bullseye glass. When you combine it with glass from other makers, matching COE alone does not guarantee compatibility, so fire a small test tile first.
