Bullseye Canary Yellow (style 000120) is a 90 COE fusible glass sheet, an opalescent color for fusing, slumping, and kilnforming. As a striking color, Canary Yellow may not reach its final shade until it is fired.
Cold characteristics Color variations common from pastel to vibrant yellow.
Working notes Lighter coloration matures and becomes consistent to target upon firing. A sulfur glass. May react with lead and copper glasses to create dark interface (lead sulfide, copper sulfide). This style is not suitable for kilncasting because it can become incompatible when held at high temperatures for an extended period. It may also become incompatible in instances where processes exceed the parameters of the test for compatibility. Testing recommended when heatwork exceeds these parameters.
Reactions This is a reactive glass. It contains Sulfur (S) / Selenium (Se) and may react where it meets Copper (Cu), Lead (Pb), and Silver (Ag), forming a visible line or halo at the boundary. Use that on purpose to outline and add depth, or keep reactive colors apart to avoid it.
Format and sizes Double-rolled sheet, 3mm standard thickness, with a rolled edge. Available in the sizes shown above.
Fusing and compatibility Tested compatible with other Bullseye glass. When you combine it with glass from other makers, matching COE alone does not guarantee compatibility, so fire a small test tile first.
