Oceanside Aventurine Black (style OGT1009AVF) is System 96 tested-compatible 96 COE fusible sheet glass, a dense opalescent black with an aventurine sparkle.
Appearance
A solid opaque black with a smooth surface with fine metallic glints scattered across it, the aventurine effect. It reads as a deep true black that catches small points of light at an angle.
Working notes
As a dense opal it works as a solid base or backing, hiding what is behind it and making brighter colors pop. A full fuse smooths it to an even gloss and can settle the sparkle into the glass; a tack fuse keeps more surface texture.
Reactions

Fusing and compatibility
Fuses cleanly with the rest of the System 96 line. With glass from other makers, matching COE alone does not guarantee a fit, so fire a test tile first.
