Oceanside Light Green Waterglass (style OGT121WF) is System 96 tested-compatible 96 COE fusible sheet glass, a transparent green sheet with a rippled Waterglass texture.
Appearance
This is a clear, medium green carrying the Waterglass texture, a soft rolling ripple pressed into one face. The ripple bends light across the surface and makes the green shift between lighter and deeper tones like sunlight through water. Held to the light it reads a bright transparent green with a watery shimmer.
Working notes
The Waterglass ripple is on one face and the reverse is smoother. Firing texture-side up keeps some ripple through a tack fuse, while a full fuse relaxes it toward flat and glossy. Being transparent, the green glows with light behind it, so it suits panels and pieces that catch a light source.
Reactions
This is a copper-bearing color, rated low on the System 96 reactive scale. Fused against a sulfur-bearing glass it can develop a reaction line or a shift in color where the two meet, an effect fusers use on purpose for shading and depth. Fusing and compatibility
Tested compatible with other System 96 glass, so it fuses cleanly with any 96 COE product in the System 96 family. When you combine it with glass from other makers, matching COE alone does not guarantee compatibility, so fire a small test tile first.
