Oceanside Medium Blue Waterglass Transparent (style OGT134WF) is System 96 tested-compatible 96 COE fusible sheet glass, a transparent medium blue with a rippled Waterglass surface.
Appearance
A bright medium blue that passes light, its Waterglass surface running in soft, flowing ripples. The ripple catches highlights and gives the blue a moving, water-like quality, lighter where the light lands and deeper in the troughs.
Working notes
The Waterglass ripple sits on one face; the reverse is smoother. As a transparent it lights up over a pale base and deepens where it overlaps. A tack fuse preserves the rippled texture; a full fuse relaxes it toward a smoother surface.
Reactions
This is a copper-bearing color, rated medium on the System 96 reactive scale. Fused against a sulfur-bearing glass it can develop a reaction line or a shift in color where the two meet, an effect fusers use on purpose for shading and depth. Fusing and compatibility
It fuses cleanly with any other 96 COE product in the System 96 family. With glass from other makers, matching COE alone does not guarantee compatibility, so test-fire a small tile first.
