Oceanside Dark Purple Transparent Noodles (style OGTN146F) are System 96 tested-compatible 96 COE fusible noodles, flat ribbon strands of deep purple glass.
Appearance
Flat ribbon strands in a deep transparent purple that reads nearly black where thick. Held to the light the color opens into a rich aubergine and wine purple, and single strands show it far more clearly than the dark bundle.
Working notes
Over a light ground it reads brightest; over a dark base it goes toward black, useful for both rich color and strong dark lines. The flat ribbon lays wider bands than a stringer, flattening on a full fuse and staying raised on a tack fuse.
Reactions

Using the noodles
Noodles are flat strands for stripes, bands, and detail. Lay them side by side for a woven look, cut to length for clean lines, or scatter for pattern.
Fusing and compatibility
Fuses cleanly with any other System 96 glass at 96 COE. With glass from other makers, matching COE alone does not guarantee compatibility, so fire a small test tile first.
