Oceanside Red Reactive (style OGTU60045F) is System 96 tested-compatible 96 COE fusible sheet glass, a reactive color that develops a deep red where it meets copper-bearing glass.
Appearance
On its own this glass reads as a pale, nearly colorless sheet. The sample tile shows what it does in a fuse: a band of the reactive glass has turned deep brick red and reddish brown where it sits against copper-bearing blue glass, while the surrounding areas stay clear. The reaction is strongest along the contact edges, leaving a speckled red to brown line.
Working notes
The red is not a built-in color, it develops only through the reaction, so plan this glass next to copper-bearing pieces to draw it out. As a double-rolled 3mm sheet both faces behave the same. A full fuse melts everything flat and blends the reaction line, while a tack fuse keeps the pieces raised and the reaction edges sharper. Without a reactive neighbor the sheet stays pale and nearly clear.
Reactions

Fusing and compatibility
Tested compatible with other System 96 glass, so it fuses cleanly with any 96 COE product in the System 96 family. When you combine it with glass from other makers, matching COE alone does not guarantee compatibility, so fire a small test tile first.
