Wissmach Parsley Transparent (color code 96-320) is COE 96 kiln glass, a deep leafy green in a 3mm sheet, tested for fusing compatibility.
Appearance A rich, saturated green with the depth of a bottle glass, glowing brightest where light passes through the center of the sheet. Fine dark specks and seeds are peppered through the glass, part of its handmade rolled character, and they read as tiny flecks of shadow inside the green rather than surface marks.
Working notes Wissmach’s recommended full fuse schedule for a 6mm project made from two 3mm layers: heat at 300 degrees F per hour to 1225 F and hold 30 minutes, then 600 per hour to 1460 F with a 10 minute hold, cool as fast as the kiln allows to 960 F and hold 1 hour, then 100 per hour down to 700 F. These numbers come from Wissmach’s current published firing guidance. They are guidelines, not guarantees. Kilns differ, so fire a small test piece first.
Reactions Parsley carries both the copper and sulfur markers on Wissmach's COE 96 chart, so it can form reaction lines with neighbors from either family, from sulfur side colors like String of Pearls or Honey to copper side blues and greens. Fire a small test tile of any direct contact pairing before you commit a project.
