Oceanside Amazon Green Opalescent (style OGT22674SF) is System 96 tested-compatible 96 COE fusible sheet glass, a soft mid-tone green in a smooth opalescent sheet.
Appearance
The photo shows a gentle apple green with a milky, opalescent body rather than a see-through one. Soft lighter and darker passes drift through the sheet, giving it a slightly cloudy, hand-rolled feel. The surface is smooth and even.
Working notes
As an opalescent it reads as a solid color and holds its tone over a light or dark base, working well as a background field or a solid shape. A full fuse brings the surface to a smooth gloss, while a tack fuse keeps edges and layers defined.
Reactions
This is a copper-bearing color, rated low on the System 96 reactive scale. Fused against a sulfur-bearing glass it can develop a reaction line or a shift in color where the two meet, an effect fusers use on purpose for shading and depth. Fusing and compatibility
Tested compatible with other System 96 glass, so it fuses cleanly with any 96 COE product in the System 96 family. When you combine it with glass from other makers, matching COE alone does not guarantee compatibility, so fire a small test tile first.
