Oceanside Amazon Green (style OGTN2264F) is System 96 tested-compatible 96 COE fusible noodles, thin flat ribbons of opaque green opalescent glass.
Appearance
Flat noodle strands in a fresh apple-to-lime green opal. Being opalescent, they read solid green rather than see-through, and lay down bold, even stripes.
Working notes
Amazon Green holds its bright tone over any base. A full fuse melts the noodles into the surface; a tack fuse keeps them raised as lines.
Reactions
This is a copper-bearing color, rated low on the System 96 reactive scale. Fused against a sulfur-bearing glass it can develop a reaction line or a shift in color where the two meet, an effect fusers use on purpose for shading and depth. Using the noodles
Noodles are thin flat strands for drawing lines, stripes, and fine detail. Lay them across the surface for linework, borders, or a woven look.
Fusing and compatibility
Fuses cleanly with any 96 COE glass in the System 96 family. With other makers, matching COE alone does not guarantee a fit, so fire a test tile first.
