Oceanside Lilac Opalescent Frit (style 2404-96) is System 96 tested-compatible 96 COE fusible frit, crushed opal glass in a soft lilac purple.
Appearance
Crushed granules in a muted lilac, a soft grayed purple with a pearly opal sheen on the broken faces. It reads opaque, in sizes from small chips to larger grains.
Working notes
A soft, solid purple wash. Sprinkle thin for a light dusting or pile it deeper for a solid fill. A full fuse melts it into the surface, a tack fuse keeps a grainy texture, and as an opal it stays solid over any base.
Reactions

Using the frit
Frit is crushed glass in graded sizes. Use it for color washes, gradients, and surface detail, or to fill open areas in a mold.
Fusing and compatibility
Tested compatible with any 96 COE glass in the System 96 family. With glass from other makers, matching COE alone does not guarantee compatibility, so fire a small test tile first.
