Oceanside Fern Green (style OGTN755F) is System 96 tested-compatible 96 COE fusible noodles, a rich fern green in flat ribbon strands.
Appearance
A strong, leafy fern green, saturated and clear enough to glow where light passes through the strands. Bundled together they read as a vivid medium green with bright highlights along the ribbon edges.
Working notes
Fern green suits foliage, stems, and bold green linework. A full fuse melts the noodles flat into the surface; a tack fuse leaves them raised as texture, deepening where they overlap a colored ground.
Reactions
This is a copper-bearing color, rated medium on the System 96 reactive scale. Fused against a sulfur-bearing glass it can develop a reaction line or a shift in color where the two meet, an effect fusers use on purpose for shading and depth. Using the noodles
Noodles are flat ribbon strands for stripes, borders, and linear detail. Lay them across a base layer and fire.
Fusing and compatibility
Fuses cleanly with any other 96 COE product in the System 96 family. With glass from other makers, matching COE alone does not guarantee compatibility, so fire a small test tile first.
