Oceanside Fern Green Opalescent Stringers (style OGTS755F) is System 96 tested-compatible 96 COE fusible stringers, fresh fern green glass threads for lines and detail.
Appearance
A bright fern green drawn into fine even threads that catch the light with a fresh glow.
Working notes
Draws stems, vines, and outlines, staying fresh over light bases. Fuses flat at a full fuse or stays raised at a tack fuse.
Reactions
This is a copper-bearing color, rated medium on the System 96 reactive scale. Fused against a sulfur-bearing glass it can develop a reaction line or a shift in color where the two meet, an effect fusers use on purpose for shading and depth. Using the stringers
Stringers are thin glass threads for lines and fine detail. Snip them to length and lay them for outlines, borders, or linear patterns.
Fusing and compatibility
Fuses cleanly with any 96 COE glass in the System 96 family. With glass from other makers, matching COE alone does not guarantee compatibility, so fire a small test tile first.
