Oceanside Flame (style OGTN602F) is System 96 tested compatible 96 COE fusible noodles, bright orange opalescent ribbons.
Appearance
Thin flat ribbons of bright, warm orange. As an opalescent color the orange stays solid and vivid rather than clear, reading as a strong flame orange.
Working notes
Laid on the surface the ribbons stand up at a tack fuse and melt flush at a full fuse, holding their solid orange over any base.
Reactions
This is a sulfur-bearing color, rated medium on the System 96 reactive scale. Fused against a copper-bearing glass it can develop a reaction line or a shift in color where the two meet, an effect fusers use on purpose for shading and depth. Next to non-reactive colors it stays true. See the System 96 Reactive Color Chart for the colors it reacts with.
Using the noodles
Use them for stripes, borders, and fine detail, laid flat or on edge to build linear patterns across a base.
Fusing and compatibility
Tested compatible with any other 96 COE glass in the System 96 family. With glass from other makers, matching COE alone does not guarantee compatibility, so fire a test tile first.
