Oceanside Pastel Green Opalescent Noodles (style OGTN2222F) is System 96 tested-compatible 96 COE fusible noodles, thin flat ribbons of soft pastel green.
Appearance
Flat strands in a soft pale jade green. Opalescent, so each ribbon reads as a solid pastel with a light, milky body. The strands are even in width with smooth, glossy surfaces.
Working notes
Each line stays a solid pastel green over both light and dark bases. Fused onto a base sheet, the ribbons soften into the surface for stripes, borders, and fine linework.
Reactions
This is a copper-bearing color, rated low on the System 96 reactive scale. Fused against a sulfur-bearing glass it can develop a reaction line or a shift in color where the two meet, an effect fusers use on purpose for shading and depth. Using the noodles
Noodles are thin, flat ribbon strands used to draw stripes, outlines, and detail directly on a base sheet. Lay them to build linear patterns, then fuse.
Fusing and compatibility
Tested compatible with other System 96 glass, so it fuses cleanly with any 96 COE product in the System 96 family. When you combine it with glass from other makers, matching COE alone does not guarantee compatibility, so fire a small test tile first.
