Oceanside White Opalescent stringers (style OGTS200F) are System 96 tested-compatible 96 COE fusible glass threads, an opaque white for lines and linework.
Appearance
A clean opaque white, a solid milky opal with a soft pearly sheen. Bundled, they read as a bright dense white; laid singly, crisp white lines.
Working notes
Bright, solid lines that hold over any backing, light or dark. A tack fuse keeps them raised for texture; a full fuse melts them flush.
Reactions
This color is not on the System 96 reactive list, so it sits next to other colors without forming a reaction line. See the System 96 Reactive Color Chart for the colors that do react.
Using the stringers
Draw fine lines and linework: lay them straight for borders and grids or bend them under heat for curves, snip to length, and tack or full fuse in place.
Fusing and compatibility
Fires on the System 96 schedule with any 96 COE glass in the family. With glass from other makers, matching COE alone does not guarantee compatibility, so fire a small test tile first.
