Oceanside Deep Aqua Transparent (style OGT5333SF) is System 96 tested-compatible 96 COE fusible sheet glass, a bright aqua-blue transparent in a smooth 3mm sheet.
Appearance
The photo shows a clean, saturated aqua blue that leans toward turquoise, fully transparent with light passing through it. The face is smooth and glossy, with only faint tonal shifts across the sheet and no added texture.
Working notes
As a transparent it lights up over a lightbox or a light base and deepens over a dark one, so its aqua tone shifts with what sits behind it. The smooth face stays smooth through a full fuse, while a tack fuse keeps dimension and softens edges. It layers well over clear or white to build depth.
Reactions
This is a copper-bearing color, rated high on the System 96 reactive scale. Fused against a sulfur-bearing glass it can develop a reaction line or a shift in color where the two meet, an effect fusers use on purpose for shading and depth. Fusing and compatibility
Tested compatible with other System 96 glass, so it fuses cleanly with any 96 COE product in the System 96 family. When you combine it with glass from other makers, matching COE alone does not guarantee compatibility, so fire a small test tile first.
