Oceanside Lemongrass Opalescent (style OGT22672SF) is System 96 tested-compatible 96 COE fusible sheet glass, a bright yellow-green opalescent solid.
Appearance
This is a vivid lemongrass green, a bright chartreuse that leans toward yellow. It is opalescent and reads as a solid, even color across the sheet with only gentle shading from the surface finish. There is no visible streaking; the color is consistent from edge to edge.
Working notes
As an opalescent it behaves as a solid color, sitting opaque over both light and dark backgrounds rather than letting light pass through. Both faces are smooth, so it fires either side up. A full fuse brings the surface to a glossy, level finish, while a tack fuse keeps the pieces raised for texture.
Reactions
This is a sulfur-bearing color, rated medium on the System 96 reactive scale. Fused against a copper-bearing glass it can develop a reaction line or a shift in color where the two meet, an effect fusers use on purpose for shading and depth. Fusing and compatibility
Tested compatible with other System 96 glass, so it fuses cleanly with any 96 COE product in the System 96 family. When you combine it with glass from other makers, matching COE alone does not guarantee compatibility, so fire a small test tile first.
