Oceanside Lemongrass Opalescent Stringers (style OGTS2262F) is System 96 tested-compatible 96 COE fusible stringers, fine threads of soft yellow-green lemongrass.
Appearance
Round stringer threads in a light lemongrass, a soft yellow-leaning green. The opalescent body gives each thin, even thread a solid, pale color with a gentle glow and glossy finish.
Working notes
This pale lemongrass holds a soft, consistent line over light and dark bases.
Reactions
This is a sulfur-bearing color, rated medium on the System 96 reactive scale. Fused against a copper-bearing glass it can develop a reaction line or a shift in color where the two meet, an effect fusers use on purpose for shading and depth. Using the stringers
Stringers are thin glass threads for lines, outlines, and fine detail. Snap them to length, lay them in place, and fuse so the lines settle into the surface.
Fusing and compatibility
Fuses cleanly with any 96 COE glass in the System 96 family. With other makers, matching COE alone does not guarantee a fit, so fire a test tile first.
