Oceanside Lemongrass Opalescent Noodles (style OGTN2262F) are System 96 tested-compatible 96 COE fusible noodles, flat ribbon strands of light green glass.
Appearance
Flat ribbon strands in a soft lemongrass green, a light yellow-tinged green with a gentle opal glow. Bundled they look creamy green; single strands stay light and bright.
Working notes
Lemongrass reads as a soft bright green line over both light and dark grounds. The flat ribbon lays a wider stripe than a stringer while staying thin. It flattens on a full fuse and holds a raised band on a tack fuse.
Reactions
This is a sulfur-bearing color, rated medium on the System 96 reactive scale. Fused against a copper-bearing glass it can develop a reaction line or a shift in color where the two meet, an effect fusers use on purpose for shading and depth. Using the noodles
Lay the ribbons side by side for a woven look, cut them to length for clean lines, or scatter them across a base for pattern.
Fusing and compatibility
Tested compatible with any 96 COE glass in the System 96 family. With glass from other makers, matching COE alone does not guarantee compatibility, so fire a test tile first.
