Oceanside Light Olive Transparent Noodles (style OGTN5282F) is System 96 tested-compatible 96 COE fusible noodles, flat ribbon strands of olive-green transparent glass.
Appearance
Flat ribbons in a deep olive green, transparent at the thinner edges while stacked strands look darker. Narrow and flat-sided with a glossy surface and a consistent olive tone.
Working notes
As a transparent olive, they brighten over a light base and deepen over a dark one. A full fuse melts them flush as clean bands; a tack fuse keeps a raised line. Their flat profile gives a wider line than a round stringer.
Reactions
This is a copper-bearing color, rated low on the System 96 reactive scale. Fused against a sulfur-bearing glass it can develop a reaction line or a shift in color where the two meet, an effect fusers use on purpose for shading and depth. Using the noodles
Noodles are thin flat ribbons for stripes, bands, and fine linear detail. Lay them flat for even lines and borders, or cut them to length for shorter marks.
Fusing and compatibility
Fuses cleanly with any 96 COE product in the System 96 family. With glass from other makers, matching COE alone does not guarantee compatibility, so fire a small test tile first.
