Oceanside Sea Green (style OGTN5281F) is System 96 tested-compatible 96 COE fusible noodles, thin flat ribbons of transparent sea green glass.
Appearance
A cool transparent sea green leaning toward teal. Held to light the flat ribbons glow a soft ocean green and lay down even stripes and bands.
Working notes
As a transparent it glows over light and white bases and deepens over dark ones. A full fuse melts the noodles into the surface; a tack fuse keeps them raised as lines.
Reactions
This is a copper-bearing color, rated low on the System 96 reactive scale. Fused against a sulfur-bearing glass it can develop a reaction line or a shift in color where the two meet, an effect fusers use on purpose for shading and depth. Using the noodles
Noodles are thin flat strands for drawing lines, stripes, and fine detail. Lay them on the surface for linework, borders, or a woven look.
Fusing and compatibility
Fuses cleanly with the rest of the System 96 line. With glass from other makers, matching COE alone does not guarantee a fit, so fire a test tile first.
