Oceanside Sea Green Transparent (style OGT5281SF) is System 96 tested-compatible 96 COE fusible sheet glass, a soft muted blue-green transparent with a smooth face.
Appearance
The sheet is a soft sea green, a muted blue-green that leans toward gentle teal. It is transparent with a slightly hazy, watery quality, so light passes through with a soft glow rather than a sharp clarity. The smooth surface gives an even wash of quiet green across the sheet.
Working notes
Transparent sea green reads brightest over a light base and deepens toward a cooler teal over dark backing. A full fuse keeps its soft see-through glow, and layered over other colors it tints them a gentle blue-green.
Reactions
This is a copper-bearing color, rated low on the System 96 reactive scale. Fused against a sulfur-bearing glass it can develop a reaction line or a shift in color where the two meet, an effect fusers use on purpose for shading and depth. Fusing and compatibility
Tested compatible with other System 96 glass, so it fuses cleanly with any 96 COE product in the System 96 family. When you combine it with glass from other makers, matching COE alone does not guarantee compatibility, so fire a small test tile first.
