Oceanside Pale Blue Transparent (style OGT1308SF) is System 96 tested-compatible 96 COE fusible sheet glass, a soft sky blue transparent with a smooth face.
Appearance
A light, airy sky blue with a smooth face that gives a gentle, even wash and faint soft shading. A quiet blue rather than saturated.
Working notes
It reads brightest over a white or light base and settles toward a deeper, softer blue over darker backing. A full fuse holds its see-through quality, and layering it over other colors tints them cool.
Reactions
This is a copper-bearing color, rated low on the System 96 reactive scale. Fused against a sulfur-bearing glass it can develop a reaction line or a shift in color where the two meet, an effect fusers use on purpose for shading and depth. Fusing and compatibility
Fuses cleanly with any other 96 COE glass in the System 96 family. With glass from other makers, matching COE alone does not guarantee compatibility, so fire a small test tile first.
