Oceanside Peacock Green Opal (style OGT22374SF) is System 96 tested-compatible 96 COE fusible sheet glass, a deep teal opalescent on a smooth sheet.
Appearance
The color is a rich blue-green teal, even and solid across the sheet with a smooth glossy face. As an opalescent it holds its color as a dense block rather than passing much light, landing between deep green and peacock blue depending on the light.
Working notes
As a solid field of color it works as a base or as a bold layer over clear. The smooth face fuses flat and glossy through a full fuse, and a tack fuse holds raised detail.
Reactions
This is a copper-bearing color, rated high on the System 96 reactive scale. Fused against a sulfur-bearing glass it can develop a reaction line or a shift in color where the two meet, an effect fusers use on purpose for shading and depth. Fusing and compatibility
Tested compatible with other System 96 glass, so it fuses cleanly with any 96 COE product in the System 96 family. When you combine it with glass from other makers, matching COE alone does not guarantee compatibility, so fire a small test tile first.
