Oceanside Peacock Green (style OGTS2234F) is System 96 tested-compatible 96 COE fusible stringers, a deep peacock green opalescent in thin glass threads.
Appearance
The stringers are a rich blue-green peacock tone, dense and saturated with a slight teal cast. Bundled together the threads read as a solid deep green with soft highlights along their length. As an opalescent the color stays solid rather than see-through.
Working notes
Stringers make fine lines, so peacock green suits detail work, outlines, and linear accents over a base. A full fuse melts the threads flush into the surface while a tack fuse keeps them raised as texture. The solid opal color holds its depth over any ground.
Reactions
This is a copper-bearing color, rated high on the System 96 reactive scale. Fused against a sulfur-bearing glass it can develop a reaction line or a shift in color where the two meet, an effect fusers use on purpose for shading and depth. Next to non-reactive colors it stays true. See the System 96 Reactive Color Chart for the colors it reacts with.
Using the stringers
Stringers are thin glass threads for drawing fine lines, lettering, and linework across a base layer. Break them to length and set them where you want detail, then fire; a full fuse melts them into the surface while a tack fuse keeps them raised. They are System 96 glass, tested compatible at 96 COE with the rest of the System 96 family.
Fusing and compatibility
Tested compatible with other System 96 glass, so it fuses cleanly with any 96 COE product in the System 96 family. When you combine it with glass from other makers, matching COE alone does not guarantee compatibility, so fire a small test tile first.
