Oceanside Clear Stringers (style OGTS00F) are thin colorless glass threads for lines and linework, System 96 96 COE fusible.
Appearance
Colorless clear glass, fully transparent, drawn into fine even threads. Bright and glassy.
Working notes
Clear stringers add raised or fused-flat lines without adding color. Use them for line drawings, borders, or trapped-line effects between layers.
Reactions
This color is not on the System 96 reactive list, so it sits next to other colors without forming a reaction line. See the System 96 Reactive Color Chart for the colors that do react.
Using the stringers
Snip the threads to length and lay them for outlines and linear patterns. They fuse flat at a full fuse or stay raised at a tack fuse.
Fusing and compatibility
Fuses cleanly with any other 96 COE glass in the System 96 family. Matching COE alone does not guarantee compatibility across makers, so fire a small test tile when mixing brands.
