Oceanside Dark Green Opalescent (style OGT22076SF) is System 96 tested-compatible 96 COE fusible sheet glass, a deep emerald green in a smooth opalescent sheet.
Appearance
A rich, deep green with a faint teal cast in the shadows. As an opal it reads dense and solid with a soft glow rather than clear, and the smooth surface carries a gentle sheen.
Working notes
A dark opal makes a strong background or contrast shape and stays true over light or dark bases. A full fuse levels the surface to a clean gloss; a tack fuse keeps stacked pieces defined.
Reactions
This is a copper-bearing color, rated high on the System 96 reactive scale. Fused against a sulfur-bearing glass it can develop a reaction line or a shift in color where the two meet, an effect fusers use on purpose for shading and depth. Fusing and compatibility
Fuses cleanly with the rest of the System 96 line. With glass from other makers, matching COE alone does not guarantee a fit, so fire a test tile first.
