Oceanside Dark Green (style OGTS125F) is deep transparent green in thin glass stringers, System 96 96 COE fusible.
Appearance
A rich dark forest green, transparent and glossy. The threads read as fine deep green lines, clear where light passes through and darker where they cross.
Working notes
As a transparent, the green reads as a colored line over light bases. A full fuse melts the threads flush; a tack fuse leaves them raised for fine texture.
Reactions
This is a copper-bearing color, rated high on the System 96 reactive scale. Fused against a sulfur-bearing glass it can develop a reaction line or a shift in color where the two meet, an effect fusers use on purpose for shading and depth. Next to non-reactive colors it stays true. See the System 96 Reactive Color Chart for the colors it reacts with.
Using the stringers
Use them to draw lines, outlines, and fine linework across a base. Lay them by hand for detail or fuse them in for delicate pattern.
Fusing and compatibility
Fuses cleanly with any other 96 COE glass in the System 96 family. Matching COE alone does not guarantee compatibility across makers, so fire a small test tile when mixing brands.
