Oceanside Light Blue Artique Transparent (style OGT132AF) is System 96 tested-compatible 96 COE fusible sheet glass, a transparent light blue with the crackled Artique surface.
Appearance
A transparent light blue broken up by the Artique texture, a fine web of crackled facets across the surface. Light passes through the blue while the textured face scatters it into shifting highlights, giving the sheet a frosted, shattered-crystal look with brighter and deeper blue areas.
Working notes
The Artique crackle sits on one face while the reverse is smoother. As a transparent it lights up over a pale base and deepens where it overlaps. A tack fuse keeps the crackled texture and its sparkle, while a full fuse relaxes the texture toward a smoother finish.
Reactions
This is a copper-bearing color, rated medium on the System 96 reactive scale. Fused against a sulfur-bearing glass it can develop a reaction line or a shift in color where the two meet, an effect fusers use on purpose for shading and depth. Fusing and compatibility
Fuses cleanly with any other System 96 glass at 96 COE. With glass from other makers, matching COE alone does not guarantee compatibility, so fire a small test tile first.
